Grammy Awards 2017, il trionfo di Adele

Nella 59esima edizione dei Grammy Awards, svolta allo Staples Center di Los Angeles, ha trionfato Adele, portando a casa cinque premi, tra i quali quello per il miglior album dell’anno. Greg Kurstin, produttore di Adele ha vinto il premio come produttore dell’Anno. Secondo David Bowie, anche lui vincitore di cinque premi di cui uno per la miglior canzone rock (Blackstar), ritirato in seguito dai suoi musicisti. Una delle grandi favorite alla vigilia dell’evento era Beyoncé, che ha portato a casa due premi e l’omaggio della vincitrice Adele che ha definito “monumentale” l’album Lemonade, il quale ha vinto il premio come ‘best urban contemporary’. La rivelazione di questi Grammy Awards è stato Chance The Rapper, che ha ricevuto due premi come miglior nuovo artista e miglior album rap con Coloring Book. Non sono mancati omaggi alle stelle scomparse nel 2016, da George Michael a Prince. Nessun premio per gli italiani.
